It's universal - a boy with dreams bigger than his hometown and stronger than his family ties. Leaving everything behind to fulfil the dream of America, adventure, danger and fame. This is the story of a boy who gets a job in the worlds largest circus, but pays for it with his life.
On top of a 35 meter high mast he became famous, balancing 4 chairs without any safety devices.
The film tells the story of a young man leaving the factory in Høyanger, Norway, to become the star in "The greatest show on earth". His act is also his Achilles' heel. When Tell celebrates his greatest achievements as an artist, his own life is knocked oss balance. When he is at the top, he is also at his lowest.
